There will be four prize winning awards during this conference:
- Best abstract and oral presentation (Jury award)
- Best oral presentation award (Public award)
- Best abstract and poster presentation (Jury award)
- Best poster presentation (Public award)
In each category 3 finalists will be nominated from which the winner is chosen. It is only possible to win 1 award, in case of nomination in multiple award categories the highest award category according to hierarchical order listed above will be awarded.
The awards for ‘Best abstract and presentation’ will be based on a preselection of abstracts and the winner will be determined by 2 independent jury members, based on presentation skills. The award for ‘Best presentation’ will be based on a public vote. This vote will be opened after the last session open during the last part of the conference.
Every presenter will compete in the award competition. By submitting an abstract the author automatically confirms to participate in both the jury and public awards.
Official announcement of the award nominees and winners will occur during the closing ceremony of the conference on Friday 20 May 2022 and published on the conference website. A certificate with the inscription name of the award, name of the winning presenter and title of the presentation will be presented to all finalists and winners.
All finalists and winners will receive the chance to make a video post of their nominated presentation which will be placed on the Pain In Motion social media channels to communicate and promote their research to a broad international audience (> 22.000 followers). In addition, the winners will receive a prize (several prizes can be won including a reimbursement of the registration fee).
